"I am getting the message 'Shared files are currently unavailable' when trying to share a file"

In some situations, particularly in the corporate environment, firewalls will prevent file uploads from working properly.  If you are getting this error when trying to upload a file, it is the result of your corporate firewall preventing the upload service we use from functioning.  Unfortunately at this time the only solution is to request that it be unblocked by your systems administrator.
